Whitley and Claire visit grandpa and Grandma Lovell
On Wednesday April 2nd Lynae and Bryan brought Whitley and Claire to stay with us for a few days. Bryan had a trade show in Las Vegas so they decided to take a break from things for a few days. The girls were so good and we really had a lot of fun. We don't have a lot of kid things around here but we do have a few things.
The swing set we bought a couple of years ago is always a big hit but it is on the north side of our house and it isn't really very warm there yet.
We also have this little craftsman tractor that I bought for Dylan and Zach when they were 3 & 1. The seat has long ago gone the way of the world but they can still ride it sitting on the open hole where the seat was.
We also have this pair of fisher price skates that I bought years ago. Here is Whitley trying her luck at staking. Needless to say I was holding her up all the time.
The girls spent Wed. night and all day Thursday with us then they went to Kinder's to stay with Maddie and Ella. They had a great time with them. On Friday afternoon Kinder took the girls to Jeff & Kirst's to spend Friday night and Saturday. The girls had a great time there as well. They really didn't even want to come back to our house. Kirst brought them over late afternoon and then we just waited for Lynae and Bryan to get here. The girls had a great time but they were really glad to see their folks.
On Sunday we had a usual conference breakfast of bacon, cheese eggs, hash browns and waffles with syurp or strawberries and cream. We watched conference as good as you can with a house full of children. We missed Jen and Eli as they were in New Jersey visiting Eli's grandfather. His grandmother passed away so Jen took him to the funeral. Ky and boys stayed for a little bit after the 1st session of conference but then they left. The kids all wanted to go outside so papa Whitt and papa Tim (Kirstie's dad) took them out to play. Papa Whitt came up with the great idea of pulling the tractor with the scooter. The video shows it in action. All in all we had a great day. Jeff and Kirst and kids left shortly after the 2nd session started and Lynae & Bryan left after dinner which came after conference. Now we are back to just Whitt & I at home and boy is it quiet. We love to have them come and we are so lucky that they live close enough to come. We will look forward to having Phil, Alesha and Koen home for October Conference.

Those are some great pics mom! Gotta love the conference get together, we deff miss it! That will be another reason I will need Tivo so I can record it, watch it later, and actually get something from it! Ü Your a trooper for watching Nae's kids...I'll remember that when it comes time for my anniversary cruise! Ü wink wink
What good grandparents you are. It was so fun to spend some time with Whitley and Claire when Kirst and Jeff had them on Fri. night, what a couple of cuties. It is fun to read all of the fun things that you do with your kids and grandkids.
