Yesterday was a big day for baby Pierce. Around 11 in the morning they extubated him and he is doing great. It was also his brother Koen's 5th birthday. Mom and Dad took Koen and some friends to Chucky-Cheese for a little party. I stayed with Brigs so he could have a nap. After the party Alesha and Phil headed up to the hospital to see their little guy. Alesha was able to hold him for the first time. What a great week old present to her and the baby.
We are so happy for his improvement each day and for the great loving hands that care for him Primary's is the best.
Grandpa met me at the Olsen's and we took Koen and Brigs to McDonalds for dinner and then we got a fishing pole for Ko for his birthday. He had so much fun learning to cast in the back yard. He really got good at it. He is ready for his first fishing trip.
